In exercise of powers conferred by Section 9(2) of the West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1974, the Governor of West Bengal, vide Notification No. Labr/576641/2024/(LC-LW/MW) dated 19.11.2024, has revised the rate of contribution of the employer to Rupees 30 (thirty), while the employee contribution remains as it is at Rupees 3 (three). This notification is deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st January 2024.
